The MyGreat GbR essentially develops platform software and internet solutions for a wide range of topics. The main project still is MyGreatWorld.com, a spot related photo community of all possible destinations of our world. The platform and framework that MyGreatWorld.com provides serves one main reason: To built a visual database of locations, what is great for travellers, residents and guests also. As time went by the MyGreat GBR extended their portfolio with a bunch of various internet platforms reaching from specialized link directories to financial service platforms.
The MyGreat GbR is a privately owned company that was founded in 2006 by Marco Stüwe and Thorsten Scherff (who successfully play the same computer-games since high-school).
Located in a more quite area near Düsseldorf and Wuppertal the MyGreat GbR was born from the spark of dissatisfaction with websites that are No. 1 in search-results but obviously -- and despite a monstrous budget -- have lost contact to the needs of their guests. Whoever tried one of the huge Dating Sites for Singles for example will have felt that there are ways to do it better -- hopefully with less popups, more content and (in the best case) real people answering.
The trend for microcosms of unnecessary gadgets and myriads of senseless features is also seen in photo communities, chat-rooms and local directories. And it is the understanding of the people behind MyGreat that most users wish for an easy and fast access to data or contacts.

Sebastian (doesn't move much, rumoured to be alive, though) spends his life behind a keyboard whispering to someone called 'Unix'. He is chuckling heartily from time to time what makes him a nice guy.
